Jerred Vargas, a 19-year-old senior at Davis Senior High School, tragically passed away on February 6, 2020, in Davis, California. His death was the result of an accidental shooting that occurred in his apartment. According to reports, the incident involved his younger brother, who accidentally discharged a firearm, striking Jerred in the chest. Despite immediate medical attention and efforts to save him at the UC Davis Medical Center, Jerred succumbed to his injuries.
