Faustino Mayares Ayona, a 30-year-old resident of Perris, California, tragically lost his life on February 16, 2020. The incident occurred in the unincorporated community of Good Hope, west of Perris. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire around 4 p.m. and discovered Faustino Mayares Ayona deceased at the scene. Another man, who was also shot, was found wounded and subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, where he was expected to survive.
