In the Gentilly neighborhood of New Orleans, on May 8, 2012, the life of 33-year-old Oscar James Johnson was brought to a violent and abrupt end. Known to some as 'OJ,' Johnson was gunned down in what authorities would later describe as an attempted home invasion at his residence in the 5300 block of Vermillion Boulevard.
