Davon Lee Pledger, a 26-year-old Black man, was tragically shot and killed on May 9, 2020, in Pacoima, Los Angeles. According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner's records, the incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. on the 13200 block of Cornelius Street. Pledger was standing outside a friend's house when three males in a dark-colored sedan drove up, exited the vehicle, and opened fire on him before fleeing the scene. Pledger was pronounced dead at the scene.
