Ricardo Calmo-Perez, a 21-year-old resident of Oakland, California, tragically lost his life on July 25, 2020. He was fatally shot at approximately 10:20 p.m. while attending a party in a parking lot located in the 200 block of Hegenberger Road. The circumstances surrounding the party and the events leading up to the shooting remain unclear. After being shot, Calmo-Perez was transported to a hospital by another individual, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.
