On January 25, 2021, John Leslie Jones, a 36-year-old resident of Seaside, California, was found dead in a mobile home located in the Monte del Lago community of Castroville, California. The Monterey County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of gunshots in the area on January 23, but initially found nothing suspicious. However, two days later, they discovered Jones' body at the same location. The investigation revealed that Jones had been shot, and the case was quickly classified as a homicid ...
