Santiago Maldonado Martinez, a 17-year-old resident of Shandon, California, tragically lost his life on March 7, 2021, under suspicious circumstances in Los Olivos. Initially, deputies from the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on the 6200 block of Foxen Canyon Road.
