In the early hours of a Saturday morning in New Orleans, the vibrant life of the Central City neighborhood was shattered by gunfire. On May 18, 2013, 37-year-old Bobby Jackson, a male resident of the city, was caught in a hail of bullets that abruptly ended his life. The incident, which unfolded between Fourth and South Galvez streets, also claimed the life of a 20-year-old male, plunging two families into a state of profound grief and leaving a community searching for answers.
