Ruben Rene Quezada, a 38-year-old resident of Santa Fe Springs, Los Angeles County, was tragically shot and killed on July 15, 2021, in Palm Desert, California. The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. near the intersection of Varner Road and Washington Street. Deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff Station responded to a report of an assault with a deadly weapon and found Quezada lying in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
