On the evening of August 16, 2021, 23-year-old Shawn Vigo was tragically shot and killed in Kingsburg, California. The incident occurred around 9:00 PM near the intersection of 18th and Lewis Street. Kingsburg Police responded to a call reporting shots fired and found Vigo lying in the roadway with gunshot wounds. Despite immediate life-saving efforts by officers and emergency medical personnel, Vigo was pronounced dead at the scene. This marked the first homicide in Kingsburg for the year 2021.
