Dillon Entler, a 31-year-old resident of Cabazon, California, was reported missing by his mother in late August 2021 after she was unable to reach him for several days. His disappearance quickly escalated into a homicide investigation when evidence suggested that he had likely been murdered. Entler's death was the result of a violent confrontation instigated by Richard Eugene Seevers, a 59-year-old probationer, and his accomplice, Frank Edward Mansfield, aged 49.
