In September 2024, Marco Antonio Valadez Jr. pleaded guilty to the murders of Raquel Pitsenberger and Marco "Tony" Valadez Jr. As part of his plea agreement, the sexual assault charges were dismissed. Valadez admitted to the special circumstance allegation of committing multiple murders, which resulted in a sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole.
