Karina Chavez Vargas, a 23-year-old resident of Salinas, California, tragically lost her life on February 5, 2022. Karina, originally from Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, was a student at California State University, Monterey Bay, where she was pursuing a degree in kinesiology.
