On July 20, 2022, Jestine Carrillo, a 17-year-old girl from Coachella, California, was tragically shot and killed alongside her 16-year-old boyfriend, Brandon Anguiano. The incident occurred in the 86000 block of Calle Geranio, a residential area on the east side of Coachella.
