On August 27, 2022, 20-year-old Monte Jordan was tragically shot and killed in the parking lot of an apartment complex near Cornelia Avenue and Highway 99 in Fresno, California. The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m., and when police arrived at the scene, they found Jordan's lifeless body. The investigation into his death revealed that he had been fatally shot, marking the 38th murder in Fresno for the year 2022.
