On September 24, 2022, 41-year-old Jesus Galindo was tragically killed in a shooting incident in Winterhaven, California. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Sapphire Lane, where Galindo was in his car with his children. The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Bishap Laurenzana from Yuma, was apprehended just two blocks away from the scene after witnesses provided descriptions. Laurenzana was arrested on charges of murder, attempted murder, and several other related offenses. He is currently being held in the Imperial County Jail.
