In the quiet community of the Town of Halfmoon, New York, a devastating series of events unfolded in the spring of 1967, leaving a family extinguished and a community in shock. Seven-year-old Lynn Marie Bell, a young girl from the area, was found deceased in her family's home. The grim discovery included not only Lynn Marie, but also her father, Roy Joseph Bell, 33, her thirteen-year-old brother, Roy Joseph Jr., and her eleven-year-old sister, Cheryl Jean. All had been fatally shot.
