John "Jack" Jantzen, a 32-year-old police officer from Yaphank, NY, tragically lost his life on April 21, 1991. Officer Jantzen was off-duty when he encountered a violent situation at a restaurant located at the corner of Middle Country Road and Stony Brook Road.
