Joe Dorsey, aged 47, was killed in a shooting on November 25, 2015, in New Orleans, Louisiana. The incident occurred in Central City, at the intersection of Fourth and South Roman Streets. This area was already known for its frequent violence, and Dorsey's murder added to the challenges facing the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) in dealing with homicides. At the time of the incident, police were seeking multiple suspects, including two brothers believed to be connected to the crime.
