On April 15, 2016, Brian Dwayne Miskell, a 24-year-old African-American male, lost his life to gun violence in New Orleans, Louisiana. The fatal shooting occurred in the eastern part of the city and also claimed the life of 25-year-old African-American male Jermaine Curry. A third individual sustained injuries during the incident. Details surrounding the circumstances of the shooting remain limited, and no arrests or suspects have been publicly identified in connection with the case.
