On October 22, 2018, Joshua Niles, aged 28, was tragically shot and killed outside his home in Sodus, New York. The incident also claimed the life of his fiancée, Amber Washburn, who was 24 years old. The couple was ambushed in their driveway, with Niles being shot multiple times and Washburn being fatally shot as she attempted to reverse her vehicle upon witnessing the attack. Their young son, Joshua Jr., who was in the backseat of the vehicle, fortunately survived the ordeal unharmed.
