On November 24, 2016, 22-year-old Terrance Jackson was shot and killed in New Orleans while at a bus stop in New Orleans East. The incident occurred during a robbery in which Jackson struggled with his attacker over his backpack. He was shot in the head during the struggle and later died in the hospital.
