On a day meant for gathering and gratitude, the life of 22-year-old Terrance Jackson was tragically cut short. It was Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2016, when gunfire erupted in the Little Woods neighborhood of New Orleans East. The incident was one of two separate fatal shootings that marred the holiday in that part of the city.
