In the early morning hours of March 19, 2022, a 37-year-old male named Humberto Manuel Francis Hernandez was working his shift as an Uber driver in Long Beach, New York. Just before 2:30 a.m., he arrived at 425 East Broadway to pick up a passenger. As he entered the vestibule of the apartment building, he was tragically shot in the head and arm.
