On November 28, 2016, Brandon Debolt, 25, was found dead in a mass homicide linked to a marijuana-related dispute in unincorporated Adelanto, San Bernardino County. The incident involved six victims, all male, whose bodies were discovered in a remote desert area. The victims showed signs of severe violence, including gunshot wounds, and four had been set on fire. Authorities believe the murders were connected to an illicit marijuana transaction that escalated violently.
