On November 28, 2016, Brandon Debolt, 25, was found dead in a mass homicide linked to a marijuana-related dispute in unincorporated Adelanto, San Bernardino County. The incident involved six victims, all male, whose bodies were discovered in a remote desert area. The victims showed signs of severe violence, including gunshot wounds, and four had been set on fire.
