Aaminah Vicosa, a 6-year-old girl from Smithsburg, Maryland, tragically died on November 18, 2021, in what authorities determined to be a murder-suicide. The incident involved her father, Robert Vicosa, a former Baltimore County police officer, and his accomplice, Tia Bynum, also a former police officer. The sequence of events began when Robert Vicosa abducted Aaminah and her 7-year-old sister, Giana, from their family home in York County, Pennsylvania, after assaulting his estranged wife.
