In the afternoon hours of November 5, 2022, a Shot Spotter alert drew Baltimore patrol officers to the 2500 block of East Biddle Street. There, they found 33-year-old Eric Henson, a Black male, suffering from gunshot wounds. Henson was rushed to a local hospital, but he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
Homicide detectives from the Eastern District of the Baltimore Police Department promptly launched an investigation into the shooting.
The case was ruled a homicide, with the cause of death being a shooting. Investigators have reached out to the public for assistance, asking anyone with information to come forward and contact them or Metro Crime Stoppers. To date, there have been no public announcements regarding any arrests or the identification of any suspects in connection with the murder of Eric Henson. The investigation remains ongoing.
