In the late hours of a Friday evening in August 2014, the life of Lajuan R. Gordon was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. The 31-year-old Black male was discovered behind a vacant apartment building on Oleanda Court, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound. The shooting reportedly occurred just before 10 p.m. on August 15, and he was pronounced dead in the early morning hours of August 16, 2014.
