Casey Waddell, a 25-year-old resident of Iva, South Carolina, tragically lost his life on January 9, 2016. The incident occurred during a home invasion at a campsite located at Pierce and Amy Road in the Lake Secession area. Waddell, along with Justin Ray Williams, 32, was found dead inside a camper from gunshot wounds. The Anderson County Sheriff's Office reported that the two men were victims of an attempted armed robbery aimed at stealing illegal narcotics and money.
