In the early evening of a Sunday in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of Demetrius Webb, a 25-year-old Black male, was tragically cut short. On April 23, 2017, just before 6 p.m., police responded to reports of gunfire in the Park Hill neighborhood. Their investigation led them to an apartment in the 1700 block of Patton Court, where they discovered Webb's body. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
