In the early morning hours of a Saturday in west Louisville, a life was tragically cut short. On November 10, 2018, Mark Cotton, a 53-year-old Black male, was found shot in the Russell neighborhood. The discovery was made just after 5:30 a.m. in the 200 block of South 28th Street, near West Market Street.
