Jodie Bordeaux, a 28-year-old woman from Powhattan, Kansas, was tragically murdered on November 21, 1997. Jodie, who was six and a half months pregnant, lived on the Kickapoo Indian Reservation with her husband Shawn. The couple worked at the Golden Eagle Casino, and Jodie had been involved in managing employee matters. Prior to her murder, the couple had received several disturbing phone calls, and Jodie believed someone was watching their home.
