A woman is found strangled to death at McCormick's Creek State Park
In the summer of 1972, the life of a young woman named Vickie Lynn Harrell was tragically cut short, leaving a mystery that has lingered for decades. A 25-year-old Caucasian female, Vickie was last seen on August 12th in the K-Mart parking lot on the east side of Bloomington, Indiana, getting into her dark blue 1965 Plymouth Valiant. When she failed to return to her Spencer home, her roommate grew concerned and reported her missing to the Bloomington Police Department on August 13th.
