In the early morning hours of January 18, 2021, the life of 41-year-old Zachary Shane Rice was cut short in a fatal shooting in Nixa, Missouri. A male, Rice was found deceased on the street outside a home on Dunrobin Castle Drive. The Nixa Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the area at approximately 3:02 a.m.
