Sara B. Maloney, aged 39, was found dead on January 9, 2022, in Pleasant Hill, Missouri. Her death was the result of a homicide, and the investigation quickly led to the arrest of Levi G. Mitchell, a 31-year-old man. According to the Cass County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the 18000 block of South Purvis Road on the afternoon of January 9th after a family member reported that Maloney had not been seen since the previous Friday.
