Hi everyone, As I was following Megan Glasser's case, I couldn't help but feel deeply for her young son who now has to grow up without his mom. Losing a parent so tragically is unfathomable, and I imagine it's especially hard for a child to make sense of such events. It really makes me wonder how we, as a society, can better support children in these scenarios. Grieving the loss of a loved one is hard enough, but when it's tied to violence, the trauma is so much more complicated. I genuinely hope Megan's family receives the help they need to guide him through this. For anyone with experience or knowledge in helping young ones cope with such loss, what kind of resources or strategies are out there? Maybe sharing could make a difference to another family facing similar circumstances. My heart goes out to Megan's family, and I hope justice serves them some peace. Stay safe, everyone.
