Does anyone have more information about the circumstances leading up to the shooting of Makahyah Griffin? I've been following the case and am hoping someone might have insights or updates that haven’t been widely shared. Living close to the area, it's devastating to see yet another young life taken so senselessly. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends are going through right now. I read that the shooting happened in the middle of the day, which is so concerning. It’s scary to think of being out and about, just going through the day, and such violence erupting so close to home. It makes me worry for our community’s safety even more. The local initiatives seem like a good step, but where do we even begin to prevent these tragedies from happening? I hope the authorities will soon find some leads and that anyone with any information will step forward. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this.
