I just can't wrap my head around the violence that little Desiree had to endure. It’s hard to believe an innocent 2-month-old baby could be caught up in something so senseless. I keep thinking about the surviving sibling and how this will impact them. Growing up, they'll probably have a lot of questions about what happened that day and why their sister isn't there with them. It’s vital for the community to come together to support this child and show them that love and kindness still exist in the world. It's important to reflect on how we can prevent such tragedies in the future and build a safer environment for all children. My thoughts are with Desiree's family and all those affected.
