I can't stop thinking about Nathan's little girl, Nevaeh. She's so young and has lost her father in such a senseless act of violence. As a parent myself, it's hard to imagine what she's going through or how her family is explaining everything to her. Nathan was only 22, with so much ahead of him, and now his daughter will grow up with a piece of her world missing. It’s crucial for the community to offer support to Nevaeh and her family during this unimaginably difficult time. I hope there are resources available for her as she grows up, and that she knows just how much her father was loved and cherished by those who knew him. My heart goes out to all of Nathan's family and friends, but especially to Nevaeh.

I’ve been following Nathan Hinojosa Jr.’s case, and my thoughts are with his family, especially his daughter Nevaeh. It’s hard to imagine losing a loved one so young and suddenly. I keep wondering about the community’s sense of safety now, knowing that such violence took place right on their streets. How are residents coping with this? Are there ongoing efforts to remember Nathan and perhaps push for changes to prevent future tragedies? I'm hoping the community can find some healing and strength in each other during such a difficult time.
