I’ve recently started digging into the unsolved case of Terry Hudson from Gary, Indiana, and it's just so frustrating how little information is available after all these years. What really gets me is the broader issue in Gary during that time—so many violent crimes and such a terrifying environment for residents. It's no wonder people hesitated to speak up. I feel for Terry's family who probably still feels this pain daily. I wonder if the fear of retribution kept witnesses silent or if there are other reasons folks haven't come forward. Maybe that atmosphere allowed Terry's case to fade into the background despite its importance.
