Was anyone else shocked to learn that the suspect had been watching the women's basketball practice for such a long period without anyone intervening earlier? I can't imagine how unsettling that must have been for the team and everyone involved. It’s alarming to think what might have happened if they hadn't called the police when they did. My heart goes out to Officer Davis's family and everyone else affected. It's a reminder of how unpredictable and dangerous these situations can be, even in settings where you expect to be safe, like a university campus. Officer Davis showed incredible bravery in responding to the call, and it's just so devastating how things unfolded.
