Hey everyone,
I've been looking into the Hamilton Avenue murders lately, and I can't get Flora Albarran out of my mind. It’s just devastating thinking about her last moments inside that house and the pure fear she must have felt when she realized what was happening right in front of her loved ones. I'm especially haunted by her instinct to warn her friend though, telling them not to come in.
Imagine having the presence of mind to try and save someone else even when everything around you is falling apart. It's a brave act and speaks volumes about the kind of person Flora must have been. Such a senseless loss for her family and the entire community. Her actions that night deserve remembrance, not just the horror of the crime itself.
Does anyone know if there have been any annual memorials or gatherings in her honor? I’d love to learn more about how those left behind keep her and the other victims' memories alive. Stay safe, everyone, and cherish your loved ones. ?

I was thinking about Flora Albarran and her family today. It must have been terrifying for her and Magno when they realized something was horribly wrong that night. Flora's instinct to protect her friend by telling them not to come inside speaks volumes about her character. She must have been such a courageous person. The loss of so many family members in one senseless act is unimaginable, and my heart goes out to the loved ones left behind to piece together their lives after such a tragedy. It’s truly haunting how quickly life can change. I hope that the community continues to support the families affected and remembers the precious lives lost in this awful event.
