Has anyone else been thinking about the possible connection between Marlys Harper's case and her involvement in the 1993 party incident? It's been bothering me that this angle might not have been thoroughly explored. Knowing that Marlys and her cousin Kizzy were witnesses and testified against the shooter back then, and given the threatening phone call Kizzy received, it seems like there could be something more here. It's disturbing to think that her bravery in testifying could have put her in danger years later. I can only imagine the fear and anxiety that Marlys might have felt if she believed she was being targeted because of this past incident. Her family has waited far too long for answers. Does anyone know if there's been recent movement on this angle, or has it fallen by the wayside since there's no concrete evidence? Keeping Marlys's loved ones in my thoughts as they continue searching for justice.

I've been reading through some of the threads about Marlys Harper, and I wanted to share a thought I had about her case. Something that strikes me as really unusual is the threatening call Kizzy received. It’s chilling to imagine how that must have felt—the fear and anxiety, not knowing if it was connected to their testimony. It's deeply troubling that this lead seems to have been dismissed or overlooked in the investigation. I wonder if there were any further attempts to trace the call or identify the woman who made it. Marlys and Kizzy took a courageous step by testifying back in 1993, and it hurts to think that this bravery may have put them in danger. I sincerely hope anyone with information comes forward, for the sake of Marlys’s family and, especially, her kids who lost their mom in such a devastating way. The strength it must take for her family to keep fighting for answers is truly commendable. It's so important that the spotlight stays on this case until justice is served.
