I was reading about Denise Caraway's case and can't stop thinking about how isolated she must have felt before everything happened. Being married for 26 years and facing such extreme violence in her own home is just unimaginable. It seems like Larry's long history with alcohol might have been a red flag ignored for too long. I wonder if there were signs before the tragedy, and if anyone felt compelled to intervene but didn't know how or had been brushed off. Denise was a teacher and probably touched so many lives through her work, and it's gut-wrenching that her life ended this way. I hope her loved ones are finding some form of peace and healing as they navigate life without her.
