Hey everyone, Has anyone else been following Michael Martin’s case and noticed the lack of security camera footage from that area? Given how instrumental surveillance can be in these investigations, it's baffling to think that there weren’t any usable clips from nearby businesses or traffic cams. I've read that areas around Gary have some cameras, but nothing concrete ever came up for Michael's case. It makes me wonder if there's a technical issue with footage retrieval or if those cameras were down at the time? It’s just so frustrating, especially for his family who’s still looking for answers. If anyone local has info or thoughts on this, please share. It's so important for us to keep the conversation going and support the Martin family however we can. — ConcernedTrueCrimeFan

Has anyone else looked into the role of community support in cold cases like Michael Martin's? It's truly devastating how his life was taken so violently, leaving his kids and family with such a huge void. It really hit me how the Gary community kept gathering for vigils and memorials to keep his memory alive. While the investigation hasn't brought justice yet, I truly believe that maintaining public awareness can make a difference. Sometimes, it’s a neighbor or someone who attended one of those vigils that might have a detail that could bring this case closer to solving. What are your thoughts on how community engagement can be leveraged effectively in cases like this?
