I was thinking today about how Cornell's friends and family must be feeling. It's just so unfair that someone with such a bright future was taken so early. From everything I've read, Cornell seemed like a standout young man with real talent and a lot to offer. Playing drums and organ at his church, being involved in music and basketball – those aren't just hobbies; they were clearly his passion. I can’t imagine what it's like for his mom, Falana, waking up every day knowing her son won’t be there, yet she still found it in her heart to forgive. That's incredible. It makes me wonder how neighborhoods and communities could do more to support families and prevent these things from happening. What do you guys think could help reduce this kind of violence and keep young people like Cornell safe in the future?
