It's incredibly tragic to hear about the loss of Tanika Ewing and Alex McKenney. Thinking about Tanika, I can't help but wonder how this has affected her clients and the community at her church, City of Praise. She must have been a bright light to those she worked with and known at her church, someone who brought people together in their daily lives with her skill and caring presence. It's tough knowing that this senseless act has taken someone who occupied such a unique and intimate role in people's lives. I encourage anyone from those circles who might know something, however small, to please come forward. The ripples Tanika made in her community are surely being felt, and bringing justice in her name would be the greatest way to honor her life and work.

It's been quite some time since Tanika Ewing and Alex McKenney were taken from us, and it’s deeply unsettling that no one has been brought to justice. I wanted to bring up how peculiar it is that there were no reports of gunshots when they were found. It makes me wonder if there was some sort of silencing method used or if people in the area simply chose not to get involved. This silence is a barrier to justice, and it’s so frustrating. I can't imagine the anguish that Tanika's loved ones are going through, especially knowing that she was an active and beloved member of the community, touching many lives through her work as a hairdresser and her involvement in the church. It’s terrifying how little we currently know about what happened that night. Sharing any small detail might be critical in piecing this together. Our community needs to rally together so Tanika and Alex's families can find peace and closure.
