Has anyone else been pondering why Teresa felt the need to fabricate so much in her life? It's such a sad element of this case that doesn't seem to get enough attention. Her lies about her marriage and profession are odd enough, but sending those texts from Milan's phone to pretend he was alive seems so desperate and unhinged. It makes me wonder if there were pressures or past experiences that drove her to create this alternative reality. Did she feel she couldn't turn to anyone for help or that her truth wasn't enough? I can't imagine the pain her family and friends must be feeling, knowing how heavily burdened Teresa must have been with these secrets. It’s a haunting reminder of how complicated people's lives can be, often hidden beneath the surface. ?
