I was reading about the Don Lannin case, and something that really struck me was how brave that little girl must have been during the standoff. It breaks my heart to think she was inside the house throughout such a terrifying ordeal. I'm so thankful the SWAT team was able to get her out safely in the end. Situations like this really make you appreciate the incredibly difficult work that law enforcement does. I can’t imagine how traumatic it must be for a child to go through something like that. My thoughts are definitely with her and the other hostages as they recover from this experience. Such a sad situation for everyone involved. Does anyone know if there are any support systems in place for the child and the other hostages? It would be reassuring to know that they are receiving the care they need after such a traumatic event.
