I've been thinking a lot about the friends and family of Susan and Shawn Tomlinson. While so much focus is on the tragic end of their lives, I can't help but wonder about the lead-up to that day. It seems like everyone in Fountain City knew and liked them, which makes it hard to fathom how something so terrible could happen in their home. Does anyone have insights on how things might have been outside of what happened? Did they appear to be struggling with anything, or was it a complete shock to everyone? It's really difficult to wrap my head around how such a well-regarded couple could end up in such a dire situation without anyone seeing any signs. My heart goes out to their friends and family who have to navigate such a painful reality. I can’t even begin to imagine how everyone who knew them is processing everything.
