Has anyone else been following Thai Yang's case in Collinsville? I find it strange that he disappeared just like that. From what I read, he would often walk around the neighborhood or visit nearby stores like Walmart and Reasor's, but he used to always come back home. What strikes me is that even though he wandered, he'd never been gone this long before.
Given his difficulty communicating, I wonder if he might have gotten lost or confused, especially if he met someone he didn't know well. It makes me think of other similar cases where the missing person encountered a stranger and became disoriented. The community here has been so engaged, searching and spreading the word, which is great to see. I just hope this attention helps somehow and brings Thai home safely. If anyone's around the area, please keep an eye out!
Has anyone looked into Thai's usual walking routes in more detail? I know the police and volunteers have done a lot of groundwork searching the usual spots like Walmart and local stores, but could there be overlooked paths or areas in between? Sometimes when people go missing, they might end up in a place that's out of sight, like behind buildings or in wooded areas. Maybe there are some security cameras on businesses along these routes that haven't been checked yet? Re-visiting Thai's favorite paths and getting more eyes on side streets and less obvious cut-throughs might shed some light. Keeping Thai’s communication challenges in mind, he might not have been able to ask for help if he got lost or confused. Let's keep looking and bringing attention to this! If anyone’s in the Collinsville area and able to help, please share any findings, no matter how small they seem. We’re all hoping for Thai's safe return.
